We are familiar with the Seven Churches as found in Revelation 2 and 3; however I’d like to look into why each church was either alive or dead, and what can be learned about each one.
Now a church is a group of people attending together worshiping God, so the churches themselves fall into these groups when the members themselves do the same.

First warning: The danger of leaving your first love.
This warning comes from the church of Ephesus in Revelation 2: 4-5
In 1 Samuel 25, there was a woman named Abigail who was married to a man named Nabal. David and his men come to Nabal’s servants and ask to celebrate a feast day with him and his household. Nabal refused David’s request and says ““Who is David, and who is the son of Jesse? There are many servants nowadays who break away each one from his master. Shall I then take my bread and my water and my meat that I have killed for my shearers, and give it to men when I do not know where they are from?”
David upon hearing this prepares his men for battle, yet one of the servants told Abigail, who realized all the good that David did in protecting them, realizes the evil that her husband did, and quickly prepares a feast for David and his men, and in secret gave to him as he requested.
